As someone that dreamed of running around like Robin Hood as a child, creating video for Silver Archery seemed like a dream come true.
With a brief of combining “Top Gear and MTV” (although the MTV reference is maybe a little dated, I got the idea) it felt like I was given a chance to create a video aimed specifically at childhood Jon*.
The edit combined shots showing different services, products and in various locations. From the office near the beloved Battersea Power Station to the wilds of countryside Northumberland.
Fast-paced edits with a grunge style of music and effects create that high energy feel from MTV. While the slow motion, panning around with a gimbal camera and some drone thrown in adds that Top Gear touch they were after.
Overall, the client were over the moon with the results and I worked on a project I felt like I had been waiting a lifetime for. Now to find a project that’s full of puppies and cats… Oh wait! – Covetrus – Mobivets
