Geopura are an industry leader in creating electricity from renewable sources and having fully developed their Hydrogen Power Unit (HPU), they were keen to show off just how incredible this tech is.

This standalone animation uses their original CAD files in order to make sure every surface, every nut and every bolt is completely correct. This also gives me the ability to have complete control of how everything moved within the scene, no matter what was needed.
You want the product to disassemble and then reassemble seamlesly? No problem!
You want to show the small attention to details on the product? Easy!
You want to parts flying all over the place? I can do it!
I’m sure you get the idea.

Thankfully, Geopura were looking for it to be a lot more simple. They completely understood that ‘less is more’ when it comes to video and wanted their messages to be clear and concise. Keeping the animation to around 1 minute in length meant everything on screen needed a purpose.

So after bringing in the CAD files to the animation software, adding colour and texture to every surface, I began to create the 3D journey around the HPU. Showing the delivery of hydrogen, then where it interacts within the unit, how that leads to their batteries and is stored. Before ending on one last message that the biggest output is pure, drinkable water from the back of the HPU.

Finally, with a bit of After Effects magic, I added a bit more animation to keep the viewer’s gaze flowing along with the video. Bringing in graphic text to really bring home each and every selling point.

This left them with a powerful, polished animation that brings Geopura’s HPU to life. Showcasing it as a big step forward in renewable energy technology.
