As a born and bred Geordie, getting to edit the celebrations in my home city was a project I couldn’t pass up the chance to work on. This video for Sandman Signature Hotels captured the energy and emotion of the Newcastle United Carabao Cup parade which was a day filled with plenty of pride and passion in a sea of black and white.

The videos created capture the entire day, from the set up to the reveal of the huge flag showing Eddie Howe, right the way through to the celebrations at the bar of the Sandman Hotel. No interviews. No commentary. Just a huge celebration and a chance to document a massive moment in the heart of Newcastle Upon Tyne.

A range of edits were delivered for different platforms, including a full-length version and several shorter cuts tailored for social media. Each version was also supplied with and without music, giving the client flexibility to pair the visuals with commercial tracks on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. It was a perfect example of getting multiple videos from a single day and how far your footage can go when planned and edited with purpose.
